Ah, Mario. Those were the best days, chucking your Nintendo out the window because you kicked your own ass trying to get to the princess, only to find that you had to do it for two more stages because Toad said she wasn't there.

(Yeah, I died on level six a lot)

This game makes me think of that one youtube video.

Only, this one has giant crabs, porcupines, snails, armadillos, and a giant beetle. And only one life.

Well, in the long run, I definitely liked it. In the short run, I didn't play very long and didn't receive any badges, so I can't really say I was annoyed. (Getting closer to that 127 death every time I play! Whoo!)

[Warfare 1944]

I remember playing Warfare 1931 or whatever it was called. This game was a bit different(less trenches), and I finally got to play the American team.

I give this a ten, both for strategy(which I lack), gameplay, and accessibility. Even if I can't play Wermacht campaign(don't want to. I don't like Nazis.)

Technical difficulties

Okay, I'm going to be honest here.

1. The difficulty was ridiculous. Half the time, I found myself flying into spikes or smashing into walls because either the gaps were too small, or I was going to fast.

2. The controls were lacking. I couldn't hardly get the pig off the ground, and when I did, I couldn't control him because he was going either too fast, too slow, was rising too high, or falling too easily.

3. The music got on my nerves after a while. I know I can mute it, but I don't like it when games are quiet.

4. See 3, only this one concerns the squeals.

5. The wings caused too much hassle when trying to land. If I didn't accidentally scrape a wall and die, I dropped onto a pillar and died because one of the wings scraped a spike.

But on the other side of this, the graphics were joyful. I love 8-bit games. The music was produced well, even if it did ride my nerves, and the quality of the game was spectacular.

I'll be fair with my rating on this game. You would've gotten a one from if not for the graphics and music to save your score. I give this at least a five.

You know, this game makes me think of just how fun violent games truly are.

I don't care what anybody says against them, I find them highly entertaining.
