Name's Jason Haley. I'm an author, so don't expect a lot of drawing art out of me. I can't draw worth my life. I do, however, enjoy playing games online or offline. Favorites would be: shooters, racing, and maybe some RPGs on the side.

I'm in Italia, the "boot" of the world.

So, I'm here in Venice. Yes, that's in Italy, if you somehow overlooked that fact. And yes, I did just make a terrible reference to the ironic shape of Italy's landscape on a map. Thanks for noticing.

Max and I are sharing a room for the first time since boot camp, when we shared the same bunk, with Leif unfortunately on the top, leaving little to no room for him to breathe.

Bryce (R3c0Nzi13) IM'ed me just now. Looks like he'll be emailing me bits and pieces of the Minerva story he, Salem (SalemWaribara) , and I are working on. That's all well and good.

I've been meandering around Venice for a little while. I managed to hook me a boat ride. The guy running the boat really likes to talk. But I can't understand what he's saying. Out of all the languages I neglected to learn, it just HAD to be Italian.

Brilliance, Jason. Brilliance.

On the upside, the fact that I can't understand anybody here makes it more fun for me to watch people get into arguments, because I don't know what they're saying, so I don't have a reason to be pissed off that they're probably fighting over nothing.

While I did manage to find a couple people who could speak English, and some really well, most of the people I try to talk to give me this look of "WTF?"

My uncle said he spoke in Spanish, and people could understand him. Maybe I should try that?

O, debo apenas ahora dar quizá para arriba mientras que tengo la ocasión. ¿Yo no sabe, usted piensa a gente italiana podría entender lo que estoy diciendo?

Because I really hope so.

Italia? Is that like, some fancy word for Italy?

I just call it "Italia". Just like I tend to call Great Britain "Britannia".

So, would this preference apply to all countries, or just the ones you think sound cool when they end in "-ia"?

Don't know, don't care.
